Falcone Custom Homes is proud to offer homes that have earned the ENERGY STAR® label.  ENERGY STAR® qualified homes are significantly more energy efficient than standard homes, offering at least 15% and typically 20 – 30 % more energy efficiency over standard homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC).   Designed to protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions through their efficient use of energy, an ENERGY STAR® home must meet stringent guidelines set forth by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Tighter construction and ducts, properly installed insulation, efficient heating and cooling systems, high performance windows and efficient products all contribute to producing an ENERGY STAR® home.  Independent third party onsite testing and inspections during the construction progress ensures that the ENERGY STAR® qualification is earned.
